 VOCABULARY MANNERS AND ETIQUETE  Etiquette:  rules for polite behavior in society or in a particular group.  Cultutal literacy: knowing about and respecting the culture of others.  Table manners: rules for polite behavior when eating with other people.  Punctuality: the habit of being on time. Impolite: not police, rude  Offensive: extrémely rude or impolite  Customary: usual or traditional in a particular culture  Taboo: not allowed because of very atrong cultural or religius rules. 

  To form short answers we use the fórmula is: yes/no + subject + auxiliary verb. We take the auxiliary verb from the question or statements.  Example: is she nice? = Yes its nice 

                                                              PAST US PAST PERFECT  Past simple allows you to narrate what has happened in the past in a sequential way. past perfect simple, for its part, delves further into the past, taking a certain moment as a reference to describe an action prior to this moment. 

                                               QUESTIONS POSSITIVE AND NEGATIVE  The two main rules for forming questions tag are sentence is affirmative, the question is  negative. while when a sentence is negative, the question is possitive, question tag structures:  1. Affirmative sentece + question tag negative  example:   she is from wales, isn´t she? you are learning spanish, arent´ you? you bought bread yesterday, didn´t you? 2. Negative sentence + question tag affirmative  example: pablo hasn´t finished his novel yet, has he? luisa couldn´t catch the plane, could she? it isn´t cold in miami is it?
